Who we are: Management Team
Who we are: Team
Our Directors and managers include:

Emma Thompson – Interim CEO
Emma Thompson, has stepped into the role of Interim CEO from our own Board of Trustees.
Emma joined the Board in 2025 following a career in Corporate Strategy within the Financial Services sector. She made the decision to leave Financial Services to become a full-time carer and advocate for her daughter, who has a rare chromosome condition and complex needs. Joining the Wilberforce Trust as a Trustee felt like a natural fit, enabling her to bring together her strategic expertise, lived experience, and passion for supporting an organisation that makes a meaningful difference to people’s lives.
Emma has spoken about how strongly she connects with the Trust’s unique offer: combining specialist sensory services, community-building, and a commitment to supporting people to live independent, fulfilling lives.
