A Special Deaf Awareness week event in collaboration with the Royal Association for Deaf people

A Special Deaf Awareness week event is taking place in collaboration with the Royal Association for Deaf people. Come and meet us at York Explore Library, Library Square, Museum Street, York YO1 7DS on Thursday 5th May 10am to 3pm.

We will have equipment demonstrations, fun exercises and friendly staff who can provide help or advice with any sight or hearing related queries.

BSL Interpreter Jennie Manning will be available at this event from 10am – 12pm.

Who We Are

Yorsensory is a service provided by the Wilberforce Trust based in York for adults with sight, hearing loss or both. The team combine their wide range of experience, skills and knowledge to provide support, advice and information on Sensory Loss.
