Dame Judi Dench announced as patron for The Wilberforce Trust

What a privilege for the Wilberforce Trust to be able to announce Dame Judi Dench as our patron. Her support for all our work will be extremely valued by services users, staff, volunteers and trustees. Our grateful thanks to her for keeping us inspired to achieve.

Born in York, Dame Judi understands all too well the challenge of sight loss as she is living with age-related macular degeneration which has caused her to stop driving and curtail other activities.  Listen to her talking more about this with the RNIB:
