Making Bird Feeders

The Painting Pot

Saturday 17th July, 11am
New Lane, Sleby YO8 4QB
£5 per child

Come and get creative painting your own ceramic object; use stencils, stamps, prints and super squishy and tactile foam clay.

Places are limited to 20, including parents/carers and staff/volunteers so if it’s possible to drop your child and/or young person and leave them to enjoy the session independently, then collect them again at the end, this will allow us to make space for more children and young people to take part.

Please confirm your attendance ASAP, how many children and young people will be coming, and if a parent/carer will be present. Places will be on a first come first served basis.

Totally Roarsome

In an untouched woodland, just outside of Leeds, dinosaurs, bears, lions, and tigers roam free. There may even be a unicorn or two.

They are joined by their friends from down on the farm, creatures from under-the-sea and a gang of superheroes. – It’s much more than just dinosaurs.

Make your own way there and join the group for a totally roarsome time!

Club Wilber 2nd Birthday Picnic Party

Come along to celebrate Club Wilber’s second birthday!

There will be food and drinks provided (so please let us know if there are any dietary requirements), sensory games including giant jenga, a dance floor, and a chance to get together and celebrate Club Wilber turning two, especially after such a tough year not being able to spend time with each other!

And if the weather is bad, we will be able to move inside to a private room, so bad weather won’t be able to dampen our celebrations!

If you are travelling from further afield, on this occasion, as it’s our birthday, please speak to us about if you need support with travel costs if needed – we want as many of you to be able to join as possible!

Decorating Pumpkins

Ice Cream Parlour Visit

Make your own way there and meet us for an ice cream of your choice (something exotic like ricotta and fig, or something more traditional like mint chocolate chip?) provided by Club Wilber and stick around to catch up with everyone, use the playing space and enjoy the café grounds.

Chocolate Making Workshop

Saturday 11th September, 11am to 1pm
Bishopthorpe Village Hall, Main Street, Bishopthorpe, York YO23 2RA

Come along and be entertained with the wonderful world of chocolate! With expert tuition from facilitators from Butterflies Chocolates, the group will use professional equipment to make and decorate a large milk chocolate bar and chocolate lollipop using a variety of decorations.

Whilst the chocolate sets the group can enjoy a melting pot of milk chocolate with strawberries and marshmallows to dip. They’ll then package up their creations with ribbons and labels of their choice, ready to take home.

Sam’s Safari

Meet animals and insects from frogs, snakes, and stick insects, to hedgehogs and lizards! Touch and hold each animal whilst learning a bit about them at the same time. And stay for refreshments and a catch up afterwards.

Disney Party

Sunday 14th November, 1pm to 3pm

Come dressed as your favourite Disney princess or character. Meet one of the Disney princesses who will read a story, hold a singalong, and play games. The stay for Disney music, refreshments and a chance to socialise with others.

Christmas Party

Christmas music, Christmas games, a quiz, food and drink and maybe even a visit from Santa…
