A Poem By Our Tenant John For World Poetry Day
Our resident poet John Thomas shares one of his poems with us
The Teacher Who Didn’t Understand
He didn’t understand
What I was talking about
“I don’t understand”
I didn’t
“I am a crackpot”
“I should have known better”
The other teacher
Under stands,
“You’ve got it there”
“You’ve got it dear”
“That’s poetry”
“He may be blind”
“But he sees stars”
