Welcome to news of our fundraising in 2009.
The Wilberforce Trust would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped and supported the Trust in their fundraising activities throughout 2008. We are also extremely grateful to those who gave donations and to those who gave their time, talents and enthusiasm.
A very sincere thank you.
We have a variety of activities planned so please have a look at our Events page for further details.
Our 100 Club continues to flourish. If you would like to know more about this and/or would like to join and stand a chance of winning £25.00, £15.00 or £10.00 at the beginning of each month at a cost of £24.00 per year, please contact the office.
The Trust has a Legacy Leaflet and also a Donation in Memory Leaflet, copies of which may be obtained from the office. The Trust very greatly appreciates the legacies and donations it receives. Leaving a donation in your will to the Wilberforce Trust will make a real difference.
If you are going to give a donation to the Trust please will you consider Gift Aiding your money. Through Gift Aid and Transitional Relief, you can help us make your donations go 28% further as long as you pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax equal to the tax to be reclaimed by the Trust on your donation. It might not sound a huge amount, but every penny really does count. Imagine what a difference that could make and it would not cost you any more! What is more, if you are a higher rate taxpayer, you are entitled to claim tax relief on your donations.
If you would like to know more about our future fundraising activities or are interested in our 100 Club, please contact Barbara Kendall at the Trust's offices - Wilberforce House, 49 North Moor Road, Huntington, York YO32 9QN, telephone 01904 760037
The Wilberforce Trust would like to express its sincere appreciation to all those people who have supported us in the past - we hope that you will support us again in the future.
